One Year Bible Reading Plan
Developed by Keith Shorter
If you would like to read the Bible through in one year, you can use the following plan as your guide. I developed this plan to assist me in my personal Bible study. Perhaps it will help you as well.
· Starting with Genesis, read three chapters each day and one Psalm.
· After Genesis is completed read through the Gospel of Matthew, again reading three chapters per day and one Psalm.
· Alternate between Old and New Testament books, and read one Psalm each day.
· After you have completed Psalms, you will have enough time to read through them again if you like. (Or you could read through the book of Proverbs again.)
· Following this plan, by December 31, you will have read through the entire Bible once, and through Psalms or Proverbs at least two times.
· As you are reading record your thoughts on the Bible Study Notes sheet. At the end of the year you will have your own personal study notes on the entire Bible!
You can now fill in the blanks online and save the information to your computer. Bible Study Notes Form (click here)
